It seems as if many hip-hop tracks have been inadvertently hijacked by trap beats. Records have become increasingly aggressive, and for those of us that prefer something slightly more soulful, Aussie producer Flume caters to just that.
His latest release, which features on a mixtape that has recently been dropped, includes the added presence of Wu-Tang’s own GhostFace Killah. There’s also an added depth with vocals from Autre Ne Veut, and the rework of ‘Space Cadet’ has been flooding cyber space.
This mixtape includes artist royalty such as Gibbs, Killer Mike and M.O.P. Old school hip-hop fans should be sure not to miss out.
